Go to your computer or motherboard support site and download the Chipset drivers - if you are using AMD architecture then you will need the video drivers.
However, when I've run the AMD auto detect and got the latest Win 7 drivers for mine, it has put a red hue on my screen so had to roll those back.

Hi, Boggin
KB is plug and play is it?. Then what is the problem the thread owner has? would you kindly say

As it's an USB keyboard and even though drivers have been updated, it could be the BUS Controller (can't quite remember what they call that but I know what I mean ) as the OP has uninstalled the Host Controllers etc. and Windows has reinstated those without resolving.
The South Bridge of the Chipset drivers looks after those and downloading those could resolve.

If the keyboard is working in the bios then the problem is the keyboard or chipset drivers. You dont need chipset drivers for a usb.
Once windows is loaded go to the device manager and have it set to show hidden devices. Do you have any problems with any of the USB devices in the list? Also remove any and all keyboard items and such as well to force Windows to install them new.

The flow chart in this article is what I was referring to regarding the Chipset South Bridge and USB ports http://www.pantherproducts.co.uk/index.php?pageid=chipset and http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/SLN148687/EN

USB 2.o doesnt normally need any chipset drivers installed to work since the defaults wok, USB 3.0 however does need those drivers.
BUT the chipset drivers are always important and so should always be up to date :-)
