Title: Outlook EML Download

We run Office 2010 in our organization and have began receiving secure emails from the barracuda encryption service.  We are able to open the message which has an attachment with the eml extension.  When we try to open it after downloading we get an error message from what I'm assuming is outlook trying to open it.

I do not have the specific error at the moment but can add it to the case tomorrow ...

does this ring any bells for anyone ...??

.eml is a email file extension, I use thunderbird and it keeps all the messages in .eml files instead of one big file like outlook does. Lot less corruption that way :-)

I thought Outlook could open .eml files just fine, so a screen shot of the error would be good so i can see what it say.

.eml is just a file format which I think is MIME RFC 822.

Is it possible outlook simply isnt set as the default program to open .eml files?
