Had this problem before ever going to this site so your repair tool did not do anything to hurt my system. Whatever it has done, my computer was not harmed at all. When I go to the windows 8 start menu none of the winows 8 applications work the just jostle when I click them, the right click offers a bar at the bottom of the screen but none of them allow the option to open them. So, I got program windows repair aio. This, like so many other things did not address the problem. I tried many fixes from other forums to no avail. Maybe someone will see this and know the answer.

So the Windows 8 tile interface isnt loading any of the programs you click on?

I don't think this will fix it, it has a lot of choices for how I want my menus but I have my menus already is there any certain option that would make the programs work properly? I have installed this and it hasn't changed anything.
Not sure if I explained the problem correctly, the only programs that are not working correctly are those associated with windows 8, (Store, Maps, Weather, SkyDrive, news, Messaging, etc.)

So only the apps from the tile interface are not running, if you go to the desktop any other programs run fine?
