Any idea what is happening ?

Do you have a bluetooth device built into the laptop? (most do now a days)
You need to make sure you have the laptops bluetooth software installed and running. Normally you would have a blutooth icon down by the clock if it is running correctly.

Yes i have that icon, all was working well before a repair install i did some days back
I also just noticed that i used to have an option when i used to right click a file which was Send via bluetooth tht option is now gone...

Have you tried reinstalling the bluetooth driver and software?
There may be some reg keys missing and a reinstall should put them back

How should i re-install?
From where should i reinstall? Should i go to Device MAnager and Unistall Device then look for Upgrade?

Go to add/remove programs and uninstall it.
Then just go to the laptops product page, there you have a download drivers area and you can grab the bluetooth software and anything else you need for drivers for the laptop
Every store bough machine has a driver downloads page from the manufacturer so people can get the drivers they need.
