« on: March 22, 2013, 08:39:16 pm »
Hiya,
The shift key (both) suddenly stopped working, swapped KB with known good, uninstalled/reinstalled KB driver, USB driver, then tried changing language from Aus English to US English in case "language?" file was corrupt still no joy.

anyone struck this before? or have any idea's on what else I could try?

(windows 7 pro, usb mouse and keyboard)

thanks

Syb

Sounds like the regkey for the keyboard layout is the problem

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout

Export that regkey out and zip it up and attach it and I will compare t to my system.
