windows run window
« on: January 02, 2013, 01:38:13 pm »
let me start with this is an awesome tool.

I have a question though. i have run this on several computers with all the os's. i am seeing instances where every time it runs a tool, it needs to get permission to run every tool in the list. I have seen it in xp, vista and win7. Most times i tell it to run the first time and it goes away.  Am i doing something wrong? is there a way around this?

thanks in advance

Are you running it across the network? If so that might be it. Never run the tool over a network drive because the repairs run under the system account, and Microsoft has it set to where the system account can not import reg settings across the network. SO make sure to run the program directly on the computer.

The only time I see it ask permission like that is when it is running over the network.
