Running Repair - Getting failed message
« on: March 26, 2021, 03:15:11 pm »
 I did all the pre measures before running the repair program - was in Safe Mode when I ran the program and I received these messages:

"The current repair has failed to start for over 30 sec.
Trying Again....
The current repair has failed to start for over 30 sec.
Trying Again....
The current repair has failed to start for over 30 sec.
Trying Again....
Done, but failed, at (3/26/2021 5:35:11 PM)
   Total Repair Time: 00:02:02
The current repair has failed to start 4 times.
Something is keeping the repair from running.
Try running the repairs in Windows Safe Mode. (This will keep 3rd party programs from getting in the way of the repairs)
If the repairs still fail then please post in the Tweaking.com forums for support"

I also had a pop up that said " reg.exe Application Error"  {Oxc0000142}  and one that said "cmd.exe Application Error" with the same code

I need some help getting these error codes fixed and I thought this program would help but how if the error codes come up when it's trying to repair?    Sigh  ....     Please help < and now I'm getting a MSOSQM.EXE error with same code {Oxc0000142}  hope this is the right area in the forum to post this.

This article has a number of suggestions to resolve that error code https://appuals.com/the-application-was-unable-to-start-correctly-0xc0000142/#:~:text=The%20error%200xc0000142%20is%20shown%20on%20your%20computer,The%20application%20was%20unable%20to%20start%20correctly%20%280xc0000142%29.

I've come across a number of articles which point to Office for MSOSQM.EXE but you could try installing the repair program again but do it in Safe Mode with Networking.

Let me know how you get on.

Disregard about downloading any programs in that article.
