plug-in problem
« on: December 09, 2012, 07:28:49 pm »
I'm trying to run an audio file on my forum but there is a message telling me that you must install the plug in and with the Forum?
Then when I press on the finish and then get on this page https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/

Not sure on that one. Wouldn't it be better to use a file format that all browsers support so you dont need the plugin?

MP3 still needs a add on because of licensing.

A lot of people dont normally like sound on sites. What is the sound going to be for?

Dont know on this one. I never use sounds on my site.

Have you tried using wav files instead?

That I dont know. You will need to see if your sound app on the forum will support wav files, it should. Then just download a free converter and convert the MP3's to wav files. :-)
