Bitdefender removes Tweaking as a
« on: July 09, 2020, 02:18:38 pm »
This is the message from Bitdefender:

"Feature:
Antivirus

Bitdefender moved a threat to quarantine. File name: C:\repair_starting.dat. It is recommended that you run a System Scan to make sure your system is clean."

Bitdefender prevents Tweaking from running. What do I do? I do not see a way to notify Bitdefender that Tweaking is OK.

I used to use Norton Security which for a while would kick out Tweaking.com Windows Repair so I contacted Norton and they whitelisted www.tweaking.com for me.

This is the contact site for Bitdefender who should do likewise for you - https://www.bitdefender.com/support/contact-us.html

After a while, I removed www.tweaking.com from the white list and it was okay.

I think this may have been down to a bad Definitions update which saw a heuristic in the program as it has the ability to change the computer's registry.
