Restore Single Registry Key
« on: May 12, 2020, 01:23:05 pm »
Is it possible to browse your backed up registries or restore a single folder / key instead of the whole registry?  I ask because I made a new Windows installation, so i don't want to overwrite my whole registry with my old install, but I do need specific keys pertaining to apps I've reinstalled.
Thanks.

There may be something in the Windows.old folder you could view and copy, if it created one and you hadn't formatted the HDD before the clean install, but when you install any program, it creates its own registry keys.
