Corrupt Recyeling Bin

Had alot of errors in windows after moving from HD ot SSD. Tryingto fix the errors one by one I succeeded. Went to sleep, woke up with new errors. I did do the command line scans. Then trying to find help for those errors I found a link to here.

First time I used it it BSOD when rebooting after repairs in safe mode. Corrupted Recycling bin. en-US was trying to be deleted. I worked to remove all the files so windows would fix it.
No luck.
Before fixing all the errors I had made an image. I restarted from there and then used your program.
No crash but the exact same Corrupt Recycling and en-US.

Working on trying to get a Linux program to boot from, I don't have a usb big enough so here's hoping for my DVD drive.

Hi - I'm glad to see that you were able to fix your problems but I don't know why they should have occurred by changing from a HDD to a SDD.

A corrupt Recycle Bin is a known problem in not just Win 10 which I assume you are using.

However, should you need to perform a sfc /scannow then you should first execute this cmd as as sfc scannow can report that it is unable to repair all files.

dism //online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

The sfc /scannow should now report no integrity violations or that it was able to repair all corruption.

If you have non-specific Win 10 problems that cannot be fixed by those two cmds then you can perform a repair install which won't affect personal stuff or installed programs.

For this you will need to create either an install USB or DVD which can be done after reading - https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

When you have created the install media, open Windows/File Explorer - This PC - insert the media and double click on its drive.

This will start the process when using a DVD but will open to its files when using an USB where you would then double click on setup.exe Application.
