Does auto run work for anything else like the cd drive?

On my system when I hook a drive up that has multiple partitions, windows only gives the auto run for the first partition.

Yes, this is probably true, but before I installed Service Pack 3 on my system  auto-play  was working on others 2 partitions

There is something strange happening with Service Pack 3...

I remember reading that Microsoft was going to disable auto runs by default because it can be dangerous. But I cant remember what versions of Windows.

I bet the way it is working now is by design and part of SP3.

I dont think there is anything to do. SP3 changed the autoplay. If it is working on the other drives then it is working.
