keyboard malfunction
« on: May 08, 2019, 01:39:34 am »
This is my the second time this problem as occurred. My keyboard is printing on it’s own,
whenever I press the P or R keys. It then starts to type old passwords and other odd things.
I know that I am not infected by malware. I borrowed another keyboard the first time this happened and although the malfunction still occurred, when I switched back to my own keyboard, the problem went away.
This time that solution didn’t work.
I am at my wits end and have to use my iPad for all internet communications.
So far I have found nothing that will work.
Please anyone. HELP!

I'm not sure if I asked you this last time but does it still occur in Safe Mode or in a clean boot ?

The only other thing I can think of is if something has been inserted into Task Scheduler.

Go Start - type task schedule and press enter when it comes up - I've left the r off.

You'll probably have to expand each section to see if anything pops out for you under the Triggers.

EDIT - If you are using Win 10 it's possible that a Reset could resolve this.

While this will remove all installed programs, it will retain your personal stuff.
