The program has only been tested against released versions of Win 10 and not those released to the Fast Ring for preview.
In the past when some have managed to use the program on pre-release versions, because of Permissions differences, they've ended up in trouble, so it's fortunate for you that the program wouldn't run.
If you are having problems with that version then you should report that to Microsoft.
