Is step 39, startcompentcleanup, stuck?
« on: September 03, 2018, 12:16:04 pm »
I am running a tweaking (on Windows 10) in safe start mode for the first time and it's now on step 39, which has been running for an hour and 20 minutes. How long does this step usually take?

It does show that it's Reading, Writing, using memory, and using the CPU.

Thanks.

That dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup command can take a while to run - it checks for and cleans out obsolete updates from the WinSxS folder which is usually quite large.

You can stop it if you want.
