Being people who do not need to have the latest toy, I and my family still use Windows 2000 Pro, and Office 2000 Pro running on HP Visualize X-class PCs for most of our computing other than e-mail. WIN2K does everything that we need and it is not cluttered with extraneous junk.

Please, I would like to know if there is a version, ( probably very old) of Tweaking which can be run safely and effectively to clean-up WIN2K, rather than having to run a complete rebuild of several WIN2K systems in use by my family.

Thank you for your attention to my request.

As far as I know, it may have been tested on XP but I'll ask about Win 2K.

- I fear the program doesn't work on a Win 2000 system. It was written for a XP system or newer Operating System.

I've had a reply back and that in theory it should work, but not to risk it.
