AST scriptable presets
« on: April 10, 2018, 04:14:42 am »
Hello everybody,
I am looking for a scriptable tweaking program and just found SST and AST.

I'd like to be able to create a few tweak group setups and be able to launch them manually or via script: it would be really useful for new OS installs and setups.

I couldn't figure out if AST could do this or if there's a way to "tweak" SST to add the things I need.
Has anybody faced the same situation? How did you solve it?

Besides this, I've seen in the Defrag samples of AST that the tweak files are OS dependent.
Is this intentional? Why not script the tweaks by reading the registry to figure out which OS is going to be patched?

Thanks,
have a nice day.
V.

PS By the way I'd like also to script the installation of a few programs via batch and there are many ways to do it out there,
I'd love to have some feedbacks from those who have some experience on this too.

- The PRO version of Tweaking's Windows allows the user to run scripts after the program has finished. You can then run MSDOS commands and VB scripts.
- For a number of repairs, Tweaking's Windows Repair also uses MSDOS commands.
