black screen still running on win 10

i have used the latest 4.0.12..on my win 10
It made a lot..the first hours ..screen flimmer ect.
Then when it was done i closed, and when i later opened..
it only showed a dark screen...it seemed like it was still working
because there was a blue circle around my cursor. But now
2 days later..its still do only do that...Like in a bad loop or ?
The lap closes after a while..but starts up the same way.
Do i realy need to ..reinstall.?

You're the second one who has reported the machine failing to boot in this way.

Are you able to get into the BIOS by pressing and holding F2 as you switch on ?

As you are talking about a reinstall, I assume you have Win 10 install media ?

If you can boot up with the install media and select Repair your computer on the Install screen, you can get into the Troubleshooting section to see if your restore points will get you back in, but I'll pass this problem on.

What was the reason you ran the Windows Repair program ?

The reason i used the program..was mainly to see how well it worked
and to see if it could make anything better.
I could not use  f2 only the f 11---
I must admit i  now lost my patience and ran a f11 tour (damn it..it made lap
go win 8.1 again). So now trying to safe my old files.
But tu for ur answer

You can upgrade to Win 10 again without affecting your files.

Open Windows Explorer - This PC - insert the Win 10 install media and double click on its drive.

If using a DVD this will start the process but if using an USB, this will open to its files where you would double click on setup.exe Application.

However, it may be worth creating a system image of what you have first.
