The server the document is stored on may not be responding.
« on: November 15, 2017, 11:32:31 am »
I noticed that Office 2016 does not work very well with my Excel file. I have one document in which i have inserted various tables and diagrams that no longer open properly when i access the document.
Error message: The server the document is stored on may not be responding.
How can i remove the error or what should I do?

I don't use Office or Excel but from a Google it would seem to follow an Office update, in which case, trying your restore points in Safe Mode may help.

This article also seems to have some useful suggestions - https://community.esri.com/thread/204526-the-server-the-document-is-stored-on-may-not-be-responding

There are more than one reasons for the occurrence of such error messages. Here they are:
Excel file is located on a server that is currently unavailable.
When you try to open a damaged or corrupted Excel file.
You don’t have sufficient permission to access the file.
