I can not validate the Windows Repair 2018 license key. I using Windows Repair 2018 in my Windows 7 virtual machine.

Have you activated the key on your main OS ?

While it is one licence/one machine, I'm not sure if it would see a virtual machine as a separate one.

Can you clarify your set up.

I've checked up on this and the reason it isn't validating on the VM is because it isn't getting online, but it is strongly advised not to run the repairs on a VM.

The host operating system is Windows 10 Pro. I am running two virtual machines -- Windows XP Pro and Windows 7 Pro.

I have registered Windows Repair 2018 for the Windows 7 virtual machine but would like to know why we should not run Windows Repair 2018 in Windows 7 virtual machine.
