Firewall Cleanup Tool Breaks Windows 10 Networking
« on: August 07, 2017, 07:04:23 am »
After running the Windows Firewall cleanup tool it showed some invalid entries and after removing them I could no longer see or connect to other computers on my network. Luckily, I backed up the registry and it added the entries back into the firewall and got it working again.

I'll pass this onto Shane.

Got an email reply from Shane today that he's looking into this - he's been ultra busy.

Ok Thanks for having Shane look into this issue when time allows. Apparently it's erroneously removing the Peer to peer entries which breaks it.

I'll pass that other bit on so it may help narrow his search.
