Reset Default Program after running entire tweak set (3.
« on: May 04, 2017, 11:45:56 am »
Which tweak resets the Default Programs?  After running the entire set I get warning after warning that my defaults have been reset.

Also, Control Panel seems to have disappeared.

Windows 10 Home
64-bit
Version 1703 (Build 15063.250)
Tweaking v3.9.28

I get those messages after running Windows Repair even though they hadn't been changed from the default beforehand.

I'll ask about that for you - I just used the registry restore from the Registry Backup in Option 5 as I had only run the program to see how it ran and not because I had any problems.

Why did you run the Windows Repair program ?

Win 10 1703 removes Control Panel from the Start menu - however you can get access to it by going Start - type control panel - right click on it and select Pin to taskbar.

Another change that 1703 does is to change Command Prompt to Powershell in the Start menu.

You can reverse that if you prefer the cmd prompt through Settings/Personalization/Taskbar where you will find a toggle switch.

I've had a reply and it would seem the pop ups are nothing to worry about.

I didn't really have a reason to run the Windows Repair.  I just ran the whole thing because I wanted to see it work.  It was a computer that i could rebuild if I needed to.  So it was the Repair Registry that did it?  Thanks!

It would seem so and Windows reported as such.

Were the other bits about the changes 1703 makes any help.
