Trojan warning from MSE
« on: April 18, 2017, 03:28:49 pm »
Downloaded windows repair aio setup from both tweaking.com and majorgeeks, Microsoft Security Essentials pops up during install stating Trojan:Win32/Bham.C!d is found and severe. Is this a common false negative for the windows repair or a legitimate concern?

I've just downloaded using the Direct Download link onto my existing Pro version and Bitdefender didn't snag anything.

However, when I was running Norton Security it took a real exception to it to the point where it kicked out the .exe for the program even though it was installed -  although this was just on one machine.

Uninstall MSE and give Bitdefender Fee a go - https://www.bitdefender.co.uk/solutions/free.html
