microsoft outlook 2003

I have Windows 7 home basic, and my microsoft outlook 2003 sometimes slow and hang.
could you fix it?

I can give you some advice on things to check, but it will be up to you to fix it :-)

With outlook there are 3 main things to check.

1. Are you using imap for email? If so outlook is horrible and slow with imap. I use thunderbird with imap and it is very fast.
2. Do you have a ton of email in outlook? Outlook pst files get slower the larger they are. Cleaning up old email can help a lot.
3. Add ons. Check the add ons in outlook. they cause a lot of the slow downs and crashes in outlook. I go in a remove all the add ons I dont need and my outlook flies. :wink:
