Corupt Registry Database Fix [SOLVED]
« on: March 06, 2017, 04:25:14 pm »
I am trying to install Net 4.6.2 on my Windows 10 desktop and am receiving a "Corrupt Device Registry Database" error which halts the installation.  I ran Tweaking AIO but it did not fix the problem.  Do you have other utilities that may help resolve this problem?

This article supports other Google links that it doesn't apply to Win 10 - http://www.ghacks.net/2016/08/03/net-framework-4-6-2-released/

Thanks for the information.  Apparently one of the Microsoft Windows automatic updates resolved the issue.  The installation ran for over an hour (and this is a fast desktop).  When I tried to install the Net Frame 4.6.2 again, it replied that Net 4.6.2 was already installed on my computer.  I next ran the update to my flight simulator (Lockheed-Martin P3D) which required Net 4.6.2 and it installed fine, so please close this issue.
