Current Repair failed to start
« on: December 31, 2016, 10:49:54 am »
I'm getting a message that says :The current repair has failed to start 4 times. Something is keeping the repair from running. Try running the repairs in Windows Safe Mode"

I'm already running in safe mode. Any other options?

I'm currently running windows 8.1 but have been trying for days to update to 10.

Thank you!

Have you checked to see if it will run in normal mode ?

If it does then Ethernet connect and try it again in Safe Mode through the program.

hmmm okay so you can't update to 10 via windows update anymore you would have to do a upgrade install via a usb because that will have a osgather.exe for it to create a genuineticket.xml this should be the website to download the iso directly from Microsoft with out having to download the update tool. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO/
