Using Wrong user folder
« on: January 05, 2017, 02:50:45 pm »
I am currently running with user1 in Win10.
When I install a program it uses C:\Users\User1.DOCFXITTABLET
I do have a folder C:\Users\User1
When Win10 was first installed it created User1.DOCFXITTABLET
I'm not using that user.
I ran Windows Repair All In One.  After running Windows Repair All In One I noticed it using User1.DOCFXITTABLET.
I don't know if this problem happened before or after running Windows Repair All In One.  Ether way I am surprised Windows Repair All In One didn't fix the problem.
How can I fix it so the user user1 will point to user1 folder?
After that is fixed I will remove User1.DOCFXITTABLET

Thank you,
Docfxit

Well, the window repair wouldn't delete user folders, that would be bad.  That's kind of a weird name for a folder, and I'm confused on why there are 2. I suspect you are logging in as a the DOCFIX one and aren't realizing. Or for some reason, the whole *.* thing is confusing matters.  I would create a different user, and remove the other two after I have my data, however, you can change the default folders in the registry. I found a good article here.
