New features and fixes for Tweaking.com - Windows Repair program
« on: September 17, 2012, 01:06:30 am »
I have a new idea to make this Tweaking.com - Windows Repair program better than before so should be an excellent proposal and will probably be helpful if my proposal is acceptable.
So start here now.

A few days ago and I am infected with nasty rogue causing disable some Windows system services just like the Windows Security Center and the Task Manager and registry editor and some other services that have been disabled by the rogue program. Unfortunately I do not know what other services that have been disabled by the rogue infection but I think it has been disabled and change Windows system settings
So let's start some Suggestions.

1 - Check the Windows Registry for Windows Task Manager Virus
2 - Check the Windows Registry for Windows Security Center Virus
3 - Check the Windows Registry for  Windows registry editor virus
4 - Check whether there are leftover rogue software files on the system
5- Check the Windows startup for hidden entries' for example infection rogue still works hidden in the startup and Task Manager

6-  Start a repair checkmark, and remove the rogue infection immediately

It should locks the user's screen during the process of removing this rogue infection and close all open windows then locks the user's screen.

That's all.  :shy:
 :cheesy:

The program already removes a ton of system policies that viruses enable blocking things like the task manger.

Those are for the malware scanners. If I started doing that then it wouldn't be just a repair but also a scanner. And trying to keep up on all the new and old viruses when it is just me by myself would be a rather large job lol

Thats why in the program one of the steps I tell users to do is to scan their system for viruses first, then I give them links to some good scanners. Once the system is cleaned it is time to repair it :-)

This is good, but I have some anti-malware/spyware software installed on my system and I've scan my system with it but are unable to detect these rogue and some other fake programs. So I have used these tools formerly However, these tools are unable to detect these rogue and some other programs too!

And probably some rogue software is working as encrypted programs. And I think that the program that hit my system is encrypted one. As I read here  http://support.emsisoft.com/topic/9273-anti-child-porn-spam-protection-accdfisa-variant-5/

I have been infected with these rogue
And here. http://news.drweb.com/show/?i=304&c=9&p=0

And I used your program but was not able to repair and restore the " Windows Security Center notifications" to Startup

So the Windows Security Center is not in the startup, but where is it?

I wonder if the virus removed the service reg keys for the Windows Security Center.

Right now my repair tool doesnt replace very many reg keys. It is rather dangerous. But I am finding more and more viruses are removing services from the registry. I am planning on adding more repairs to put these services back. But it is no easy task and I have to be very careful so it will be a little bit before I have it ready.

Of course, I suggest you considering eventual language-dependent settings. A language check could be useful in these occurrences.

Not really... most language-dependent settings are on Windows XP.
At maximum another IF statement.  :cheesy:

This would be good  if we had more repair so it will be a powerful utilities  to repair Windows services and so I would like to be added "system analysis tool" to be an option to help us find some solutions and check what's going on our systems!
This will help you add more repair in the future and I hope we've helped to put some new thought.   :cheesy:

We look forward to the next big updates. :artist:
