I was messing around trying to remove permissions from a external hard drive to recover some data for a friend.
I used cmd then (TAKEOWN /F E:\ /R /D Y) and (ICACLS "E:\*" /reset /T) to remove the permissions.
Somehow it messed up all my permissions on my computer and all of my programs could start up because they did not have the right permissions.
I tried all sorts of commands and thing to get my PC working again with no luck. I was about to throw in the towel and reinstall everything.
Then i found your software at bleepingcomputer in their forum and it worked like a charm! Everything is working like before.
So just wanted to say thx for making great software.
TL;DR: Messed up my permissions, their software fixed it!
