So, prescan is for version after xp?

Hi, I think that prescan of xp is not possible for xp version.
             is the presumption correct. all other repairs are valid for xp. and if one selects, some repairs meant for higher versions, (selection of all repairs at the top) it will pass those to repair the remaining repairs?

Are you talking about windows repair all in one? What do you mean that pre-scan is not possible for xp? I believe that prescan should work as all that scan does is make a log file of missing cat and mum files and reparse points. It's not a repair at all. You may not see any missing cat or mum files as that is vista forward I believe but you should see reparse points 

As for the repair section Shane wrote WR to check the OS version first so if there are repairs that are not meant for that specific OS it will skip those repairs automatically.

Hi, Julian,
when i click the prescan in xp, i was alerted that it is meant for windows 7, and vista versions above the versions of xp.Will try again and report what that tells.
                I tried to update all for xp, after checking windows site updates in xp. To be sure of my updates, for all, including software updates, like device updates, i tried to run, the all in one prescan. It said, i remember it is only meant for higher versions of xp.

Hi, i have checked and some error found and i did fix with the fix buttons .
                 regarding cd dvd not working, shane has included in apple upperfilters fix,what if those problems are not because of apple itunes filter and some others. i am trying to fix my working of dvd drive
