I'm running Windows 8.1 on a Dell pc.
You say to reboot in safe mode with networking. Is that even possible with this program? Your own link opens in safe mode only. And, Window 8.1 and Windows 10 have all the repair programs already built in, so is this program even recommended?
After tweaking...
1. file history gets turned off every time. Why?!
2. Bluetooth stops working and I lose my Logitech Bluetooth keyboard.
3. After a tweak and reboot, I get a window that opens saying installing device. What device?! Windows is always telling me to finish installing a device. The installation never completes, presumably because I'm not installing anything!
4.My apps/charms!!! There's like 20 that I always have to uninstall then reinstall. What a %$#! pain! About a half dozen PAID apps won't reinstall anymore. Another waste of money. :(
5. You find errors, repair them (claim to, anyway) then I run the scan/repair again like you suggest and same errors are found again. Tonight the second scan found MORE ERRORS than it did the first time.
6. Latest tweak just locked up while in safe mode, and I couldn't even close it with Task Manager, I had to power down with everything still open and running.
All I wanted this program to do was take care of that infuriating mscorsvw.exe error popup that occurs about 20 time per day. I still have that issue. I have more issues now thank you, but I have a feeling that if I get a reply to this, it'll be that I didn't follow some forum rule or post in the right location or something. I am not a forum person and really wish you could have provided support from the program (You don't even have a help link) so that I didn't have to join something that I don't want to be a member of, share my email, figure out how to post a question here and now the waiting game.
