From what I can tell it says that some files are corrupted and then it just stops. Almost like the SFC crashed.

It would be a good idea to run a chkdsk on the system next

Hmm... I've been down this road before, and it doesn't end well. Last time I needed to do a chkdsk to correct an issue related to contracting the Win 7 Virus that was floating around. Long story short, my laptop will not do a chkdsk.

If I tell my computer to do a chkdsk, it says it cannot run because the drive is in use and cannot be locked while it is running. If I try to do a chkdsk after a restart, the computer reboots without running the chkdsk. There is a step after that, but I forget what happens (I think it involves starting msconfig and commanding Windows to start in Minimal mode, but that messed with my computer). Any suggestions?

I managed to run a chkdsk when I put the Windows Install DVD into my laptop and entered chkdsk /f

Then I ran another sfc scan and attached are the results.
