(Solved) Printer does not print in black hp 1300

Hi,
                   It is strange. When i test page printer, it prints in black. The colour is not empty but dried.
                            But when i try to print a scanned jpg image, it does not print . The colour is not shown. The printer is but printing, by taking the paper in and eject it out as if it is printing perfectly.
                                          What would be the cause of this. Any solution

It may just need a good clean as a sensor could be dirty.

It's surprising how paper dust can build up over time.

so color printers will use the color cartridge to compensate for the lack of black ink.

No. I changed those also that did not work.
                           Strange but true.
                                            The settings of the scan, though shows the photo or document with black colour, it is almost nil black or greyest black while taking the scan of real black fonts.
                                                  i opened the same with all the possible programs and photo copy programs shows the real colour of the scanned copy out of scan original. It was not at all black. Then,
                                                   after following the cleaning process, by boggins , i could take the printout in black  as original after exhausting 5 copies.
                                                      What are weird ways julian to know things that could not be captured with real eyes, but with some useful programs.
                                                          When i pasted the copy in adobe photo shop and try to change the colour, the colour has changed and quickly i went to original pic qualties, it says it to be grey to the deep ratio. Thanks guys
