folder question
« on: July 23, 2012, 10:26:48 am »
There is a folder under RegBak calld temp.
If the registry program were to be deleted, would/should the temp folder be removed also?
Thank you

No it doesnt get deleted, but thats why it is in the temp folder. It is safe to delete and will be deleted when you run any cleanup tool on Windows.

I'm sorry.
I think I misstated that.

I wanted to know if that temp folder belongs to Windows and stays there regardless.

Yes :-)

The system has 2 temp folders.

1. In the user profile.
2. In the Windows Dir.

1- The temp under RegBak stays there even if Tweaks reistry backup program is removed - ok, understood.

2-I set a backup for 4:30 and thought it did not work b/c I saw nothing happening.

I checked the program under restore and it worked.
