Registry Back up vs System Restore
« on: July 13, 2012, 07:21:49 pm »
Hey Shane

Registry Back Up works great on my lap top too. I was wondering. Do you think it would be wise to disable system restore now that reg back up works? I have it scheduled to run every night.

System restore also does files, this isnt always needed.

In fact it normally isnt. If Windows breaks it is normally because of the registry.

So it is up to you. But the more backups the better :-)

If you have the space it doesnt hurt to have both

Okay...yeah i guess your right about multiple back ups. Heck, I automatically image my hard drive, back up my files and back up my reg (your program for that) every night on my desk top.

All those back ups are for my desk top lol  :cheesy:. System restore is disabled for that. My lap top only has reg back up and system restore running.
