Even if the e-mail notifications are a bit slow, I still drop in to see what's going on but there are times when I can get tied up with threads in other forums.

I suppose the simple answer is to just use IE when you get that error message.As you have gone through FF's troubleshooting steps, I don't know what else to suggest - I just know that my FF works in its basic form.
@ Rick - Where did you get that .dll from ?
Just a hunch, but Rick has linked to a site in the past.....here...http://www.tweaking.com/forums/index.php/topic,3430.msg24248.html#msg24248I would NOT recommend downloading from random sites, as Boggin rightly pointed out.
