Hey Shane found this information on Samss. It says it can't be disabled but obviously something has disabled it?? There are a
lot of services on the list of dependencies that I don't have in my computer management console. The file name is lsass.exe and is in the right system 32 folder but I noticed there is another one named lsass(100).exe
i was thinking of removing it to see what happens. I did a registry backup in case. If I cut and paste it to a temp folder I created it won't remove.. should i try and just delete it?? thanks again!!

Description: The Security Accounts Manager (SAM) service is a protected subsystem that manages user and group account information. In Windows NT 4.0, both local and domain security accounts are stored in the registry.
The startup of this service signals other services that SAM is ready to accept requests.
This service cannot be stopped. If you disable this service, other services in the system are not notified when SAM is ready, which might cause those services to fail to start correctly. This service should not be disabled.
