You need to give more info on your operating system as described in the pre-posting sticky.

If you have Win 7 then go Start Orb - type disk cleanup - right click on Disk Cleanup and select Run as administrator - follow the prompts and leave it to delete the default checked files.

This should free up a few GB in obsolete Windows Updates +

Download MiniToolBox, check all of the boxes then copy & paste its output into your reply and then we can see what you have on your computer and if anything else is amiss. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/minitoolbox/

Shane may be back later today, but you may have to wait until Monday for the real tech help.

Your hard drive is almost full, and you want to cleanup some space.

First you need to find out what is using most of the space, what is the size of the music, video and photos on your system in your profile taking up? For most users that is where most of the size is being used up.

Have you download any movies or ISO files? if so you may want to delete them to free up space. Also check to see how much space system restore is set to use, and if you dont use system restore then disable it to free up that used space.

Also open up the disk cleanup and put a check on every box it has to offer, that will help free up a few GB at least.

Also go to your add/remove program and uninstall any old programs you no longer use to also help free up space.
