Did you make sure to disable your antivirus? Last user I helped had their antivirus deleteing the repairs before they even ran. Once the AV was disabled the repairs where able to run.
The file permissions repairs use the tweaking_rati.exe in the files folder to run the repair as the trusted installer. If somthing is keeping that from working then the repair isnt able to run

Yes,I disable the AV an the firewall,(unplugged network cable) all before I run the very first time. Question!,I've been having trouble since the Aug Win updates! Could this have done something I'm not hearing about?
Thanks Again for Your Time.

Not sure. But out of all the people I have helped whos repairs didnt run this is the first time it was the trusted installer one that had problems.
I am about to head out the door to take one of my dogs to the vet, I will be back in a few hours. When I get back I would like to connect to you and see if I can find the reason the repair isnt running
Oh, and you are using the v2.8.8 correct? I REALLY need to have the version of the program be added to the repair log lol
Be back in a bit.
