Date format of backup folder - Registry Backup
« on: March 06, 2014, 10:27:10 pm »
I note that the date format of the registry backup format is day.month.year_time  Is it possible to change the format to year.month.day so that the latest backup would be the last item in the folder ( provided folder is sorted by name ). Thanks Darryl

Right now the program uses what ever format you have the date and time set on the system. And the the program itself does the sorting, but I can see your point in the folders in explorer.

I would have to see about adding an option to let the user specify the date and time format they want to use. I currently just use the current system format as a lot of people are picky and and anything that has to do with date and time to match their system lol

Hi Thanks for your quick response. One solution to this suggestion would be to include an INI file in the program's main folder ( similar to ERUNT program ) thereby not interfering with one's overall date format in the computer. Darryl

Always an option, I just have to see about doing it down the road when I get a little more caught up. Right now I knock out any bugs as fast as possible, new options I try to get to once I am not overloaded with work.

Of course by that time I usually need a reminder lol
