It seems HP doesn't like Win 8. The fact MS already seems to working on Win 9 is - IMO - an admission that Win 8 is not accepted or even already has failed.

Doesnt surprise me. MS "Normally" likes to put out a new OS every 2 to 3 years.

But that doesnt always happen. Windows 8 was a test bed just like vista was. The question is will MS be smart and put the old start menu back and put things back the way people know them, or will greed rule them and they will keep the layout because it forces more people to use their app store?

I personally fine that they have an app store, but the way they went about changing the UI was a very very bad move. So now can they find a good middle ground? Most likely not. People threw a fit with Office 2007 and newer and the new UI and MS said F you we are keeping it. And Office makes them more money than Windows.
