recurring installation and system manipulations
« on: December 23, 2013, 05:43:46 am »
brought to you presently by "%:\Program Files\baidu\BaiduPlayer\3.5.0.37\BaiduPlayer.exe"

additionally, it setup in all users even though i said not too;

now it continues to try and re-install something, but thankfully it can not get past my administrator password

but, this company is violating operating principals and corporate privacy in china, thats right china, most of your day laborers in your factories watch movies... thus, the corporate privacy concern!

(viruses) are always only installed through fakeprofiles set up in the registry and then wiped after install

you can check your registry for a (fakeprofile)

regards

Hi Shane,

the bigger question is; why MSFT does not have a feature to remove and disable that issue when the screen pops up

why MSFT has allowed services and programs to migrate to all users in the first place, that was always the virus problem...

Stop all user installations, can only install on the current user unless logged in as administrator.

Add a Stop to this menu when pops-up:

Easy. The end user isnt where MS makes their money. It is corp users who buy thousands of license at a time to put out across their network. And those corp customers need a lot of customization so they can run their programs or tighent things and runs windows as they see fit on their networks.

MS will always cater to the the ones that pay them more. Home users are not those people. So while it would help the home user it would only tick off the huge network admins who have to take care of 5000+ computers.

Dear Top Dog :)

 The point of starting this thread was in the hopes that you or some people in this board could write some code to remove annoying pop up messages from programs like them in the future; after all, it was 1990 when I said, in the future, all media will be on computers. its here now, so we need to remove these types of programs before they infect us, track us more than they do already and remove unwanted advice we dont need.

It is still American ideas; we should have the free choice, it would have installed if I had not had the adminsitrator setting on

:)
