Looks like it has to do with WMI.

Have you tried the manual steps on here yet?

Thanks for your answer but this does'nt work.
I don't want to re-install Windows but I'm afraid to have to do so.

Sorry for the late reply, my wife had our baby :-)

You dont have to reinstall. First thing is to see if the file is in that folder or not and let me know and we can go from there :-)

Good morning Shane,

At first congratulations with your new born baby and all the best for a good and healthy new year.
Thanks that you will help me and that you see possibilities to solve the problem.

Annexed a printout where my framedyn.dll files are located.
When I shutdown the computer I get the message that "run32dll.exe" is corrupted.
This has to my opinion to do with the framedyn fault.

I hope to hear from you again.

Ok so your on windows xp. You also have some other errors of corrupted files not just the frame one. That tells me something else is going on.

Have you do a bad sector check on the hard drive yet?

I did a bad sector check (chkdsk).
There were no problems.

I can only read English, but I do know that the normal chkdsk is only 3 steps while the bad sector check is 5 steps, so you didnt check for bad sectors yet.

You wont be able to check for bad sectors while in windows, it will do it at your next reboot. So do this

Open a cmd.exe window and put in

chkdsk c: /f /r

and hit enter. It will say it cant do it because the drive is in use, would you like to schedule it. Hit y for yes.

Then reboot the computer and before windows logs in it should start, if it doesnt try again, it sometimes doesnt take for some odd reason.

And a bad sector check will take a while. Once done the results will be int he event viewer

Hello Shane,

I did what you asked.
It took a while and the system rebooted.
Where do I find what you called the event viewer?
I did not see any file or what so ever mentioning problems.

The problems still exist.

To find the event viewer do this!

Click Start | Run and type 'eventvwr.msc' (without the quotes) in the Open:
window

Press the Enter key or Click the OK radio button.

Click on Application in the Event log

Click on View | Filter.

In the Event Source dropdown control, choose WinLogon. Click Apply and then
OK.

This will give you a list of the Winlogon events -- including Chkdsk.

Thanks Tomas and Shane,

I did what Tomas suggested. The screen stays blanc.
I made copies of all the logs and some printscreens.
Hope one of you sees something. I don't.

Wow, your brother printer software is causing so many errors so often that the chkdsk log isnt in there any more!

Even though XP wont get any more updates from MS after April it will still work and function like normal :-)

It just means MS doesnt want to make any more updates for it after april, nothing more.

I know about MS and if it works I can keep using XP but my problem cannot be solved so far ...
I bought a programm which should solve my run32dll.exe and framedyn.dll problems.
Results: zero ! I give up!
