System file check

When i ran it, it said "Windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation" anything serious?

Win 7 ultimate v6.1  32 bit

It can be. The system file checker should always work, when it doesn't then that means something is broken.

Wren where you trying to run the sfc?

Go ahead and skip it at this point, SFC not working is a signal something is messed up on the system, but not a whole lot you can do about that without a reinstall, so skip it for now and move on to the rest. :wink:
