Has All-in-one been tested with sbs 2012?
« on: December 05, 2013, 11:12:43 am »
I have a support tech from a software company asking me to run All-in-one on a sbs 2012. I have used it with great results on many win xp and win 7 machines but not sure about a sbs. The problem is with backup software that fails on a system state backup. Without a good system state backup it makes me nervous. I'm not sure they know what they expect it to fix. So has any testing been done on sbs 2012 servers or has anyone had issues with running on a sbs server? Any thoughts would be helpful.

No I haven't, but 2012 is just windows 8 server edition. Most repairs should be fine to run. Such as permissions, windows updates, things like that.

90% of the repairs are registry related, so just make sure to make a backup of the registry with the program and you should be fine :-)
