Hi Willy2, All my thumbnail pictures became generic icons with the title of the picture, but no picture. It also affected my photos & would not allow me to see a PDF file. It sure seemed to be a file association problem, but I'm not sure. At any rate, it was a corruption in the registry, possibly done by some sneaky malware. I did notice as the application ran the repair, it "fixed" 32 issues. On my XP version, it was necessary to use the installation disk, so it was good to have that. All my best to you down under!
