Windows 7 ISO
« on: May 25, 2013, 04:06:52 pm »
Hi Shane, i wanted to ask if there was any updated Windows 7 iso links available or are they all the same?   And i know Thumb drives can get infected but can files on a DVD get infected?

I seem to keep getting this thing called PumHijackHo no matter what i do.  It seems to be hiding in the Microsoft policies homepage location and even deleting that from the registry has not helped because it comes back.  Maybe someone has info on it, i do not currently have any open help threads out there as i close them down before trying elsewhere.

So far nobody seems to have an answer.

A cd/dvd is read only, so it cant get infected.

If you need a Windows 7 cd you can gran it here.

The newest ones simply have SP1 already on them

Ok , so i should be good because you gave me a download site a few months back and it had SP 1  included.   I just didn't know if microsoft updates SP1 on a regular basis.   Since i have the copy of Win 7 with  SP1 from not too long ago i don't need to download another one because it will be the same is what your saying? No new updates were added to it as far as you know?

Thank you and i know people drive you nuts .  You can only do so much and if it makes you feel any better feel free to lash out at me in a hostile way,  throwing in some profanities may help, i won't take it personal.

Thanks again
